Today’s BCHD 22 August 2022 episode starts with Manini interrupting Viraj and Charmie’s dance performance and chastising them for their shameful performance. Alpana instigates Yuvan against Banni as the source of his mother’s rage in the room. Meanwhile, Manini demands an apology from Viraj and Charmie. Yuvan arrives angrily and begins to remove Banni’s bangle, chain, and gajra. While Banni holds her hair and neck with a grimace on her face. People pity Banni for marrying a lunatic after seeing Yuvan break her bangles.
Devraj tries to comfort Yuvan, but he doesn’t listen and he keeps on blaming Banni in his hysterical banter. Banni is forced to wear Vaishnavi’s bangles and dupatta by Yuvan. When Devraj sees Yuvan forcing Banni, he slaps him, which impairs Yuvan’s mental clarity. Yuvan blames Banni for not wearing his mother’s clothes and jewelry, further infuriating his mother.
When Banni sees Yuvan in his devastated state, his heart breaks, and Yuvan declares that he regrets marrying Banni. Yuvan, agitated, attempts to run toward Banni, but Devraj stops him because he is afraid Yuvan will hurt her. Devraj takes Yuvan to his room and tries to console him by hugging him and assuring him. That his mother is not upset with him. Meanwhile, Yuvan shows Devraj the tape on which he heard his mother sing and asks her to sing again.
Viraj and Charmie are holding a piece of tape that they used to perplex Yuvan. Later, Banni approaches Hemant and asks him to assist Yuvan because he is the only one who can handle him in his confused mental state. When Hemant hears about Yuvan, he asks Banni what happened to him. Banni informs Hemant that Yuvan broke her bangles as a result of the trauma of breaking his mother’s promise.
Later, Hemant consoles Yuvan with his fatherly love, while Devraj and Banni become emotional when they see the father-son duo. While Manni is admiring Yuvan and Vaishnavi’s photo album, Viraj and Charmie enter Manini’s room. Viraj questions Manini about her next plan of making Banni run miles away from Yuvan, but Manini remains silent and orders them to leave.
Meanwhile, Yuvan plays the violin and remembers his mother running into his room and forgiving him for his wrongdoings as a child. Banni accuses Devraj of lying to her (of Yuvan believing he has broken his mother’s promise) and expresses her gratitude to Hemant with folded hands. Yuvan rushes out and embraces Devraj, while Manni watches her plans unravel.
