The Imlie show starts with When Cheeni hears Atharva’s voice. She is on her way to find the Rana family and hiding behind a pillar. He promises to marry Imlie if she accepts to marry him while knowing the truth. Meanwhile, Cheeni is confused, and Atharva leaves to speak with Imlie as his family calls his name again to stop him. Kia then places her hand on Cheeni’s shoulder and taunts her for breaking the vase and listening in on Rana’s talk.
Near the temple, Atharva clashes with dangling flower lines, pulling one down and throwing it to the ground. The garland catches fire from the lighting diyas, and Imlie pulls it out of the way of Atharva’s feet so they don’t get burned. Her hand scorched by fire when she taps the garland with her palm to attempt to put it out, and her family comes around her when they hear her loud cry.
She conceals her hand behind her back, says she’s OK and begins the arti. Meanwhile, Atharva is unable to get the confidence to tell Imlie the truth, so he creates a text stating that he loves Cheeni, which his father mistakenly selects and urges her to inform her sister about his feelings. He also advises her that if she wants to marry him. She must wear the yellow saree placed at the temple.
Cheeni notices him depositing the box behind the temple and takes it up. Thinking it is for Imlie, so she chooses to keep it. Imlie is ready to check Atharva’s message after the aarti is over when Rudra calls her and praises her voice and says her aarti purified Rana’s house. Later, after a waiter spills a drink on Imlie’s dress, Kia takes her to change her clothing.
However, Narmada questions Rudra about the cause for the delay in the engagement. And he is ready to tell everyone the truth when Atharva enters the hall. At the same moment, Cheeni appears in the yellow saree. And he exults because he believes she has decided to marry him. Imlie, on the other hand, comes down, but the light goes out and the bride stands in front of him.
The engagement held in the dark, and Atharva places the ring on Imlie, believing she is Cheeni. When the electricity returns, he shocked, and Kia and Akash remember seeing Atharva’s text and putting the phone in a Kalash filled with water. Kia steals Cheeni’s saree as Akash turns off the house’s electricity. Imlie asks Atharva if he’s okay after the engagement because his eyes filled with tears. But his parents assure her that he has changed his mind and chosen to marry her.
