Rajkumar enters from the restroom as Manmeet scolds Vidya on the opposite side. Rajkumar attempts to make a joke, but Manmeet becomes angry and sends Vidhya out, questioning him about his surprise appearance. Raajkumar questions Manmeet about telling his father about his being a “dumb, worthless, and unfulfilling” office employee.
Manmeet jokes that Mr. Yadav heard her internal thoughts, however, Rajkumar claims that he never annoys his father and that her actions upset her grandfather-aged father. Manmet informs him that he is using nepotism to get entry into her firm, something she would not tolerate. Manmit then turns serious and informs Rajkumar that her father did not support her desire of becoming an architect. But she defied him and joined the same business as a trainee, where she now serves as CEO.
Manmeet tells Rajkumar that he can’t impress her since he’s just a line on the calendar for her when he suddenly takes out a paper from his pocket with the dates of the months on it and lines extending across the dates. Rajkumar informs her that they are the same and promises to remedy all of the problems he caused within 24 hours provided she does not contact Mr. Yadav any longer. Manmeet accepts the condition that he no longer barges into her home.
Rajkumar laughs as he informs her that his father owns the entire building and she is only renting a portion of it. Manmeet receives a phone call from her father as Rajkumar leaves. She breaks down when he informs her that her younger sister, Gunjan, is getting married and that the family would appreciate it if Manmeet attended the wedding as well. Manmeet becomes animated and begins discussing Anmol and how their eyes resemble each other. Manmeet’s father stops her and informs her that she is the only one invited, not that vile monster. Manmeet’s eyes well up with tears as she informs her father that Anmol is her blood relative, while her father questions who the child’s father is.
Manmeet tells her father that she has been waiting to hear his voice for two years, but she would not have waited if she had known how he would respond. Manmeet hangs up the phone and lays next to Anmol, attempting to wipe the tears from her eyes. She awakens the next morning recalling a moment with her family in which. She convinced her father to let her pursue her job first and then discuss marriage. Manmet agreed to marry Abhishek at the age of 28 but changed her mind. When he informed her he had sent to Dubai and wanted her to abandon her work and join him there.
Manmiit recalls her father enraged, believing she intended to harm the family’s name and accusing her of being selfish. Manmeet and her father’s argument grew when he informed her that.
