Kid Mero and Desus Nice's late-night talk show is coming to an end.
Desus and Mero chose to pursue separate careers, so Showtime announced Monday that the comedy duo will not return for a fifth season.
"Veterans @desusnice and @THEKIDMERO will go ahead with separate creative ventures," according to a tweet from the show's Twitter account.
"#DESUSANDMERO will not be back on Showtime." It's been a fantastic run, family.
The show debuted on Showtime in 2019 after a 300-episode run on Viceland.
It featured two banter and chatter about the week's major news stories, as well as frequent appearances by high-profile guests.
In a statement to Rolling Stone, a Showtime spokesperson said, "He's been a wonderful host, and we want the best for them," along with the team at JAX Media and the incredible crew.
