Y&R 1 August Recap and Spoilers: Young & Restless Monday Recap: Upcoming Spoiler
The Young & The Restless Recap spoilers for Thursday, August 1, 2022 start with a big work confrontation between Devon Hamilton and Nate Hastings. Plus, Summer Newman Abbott finds herself caught between Phyllis Summers and Diane Jenkins again while Jack Abbott tries to protect Harrison Locke, and Kyle Abbott sorts through his feelings with Mariah Copeland as Tessa Porter rests her voice after surgery.
Y&R Recap Spoilers Highlights
Nate (Sean Dominic) was taken aback when Elena (Brytni Sarpy) returned home from Hawaii early. He took a quick break from work and they dashed home for some adult time.
Nate returned to work just as Devon (Bryton James) realized they’d both booked the same musician for separate music festivals on the same weekend. Nate thought it wasn’t a big deal and that it could be easily fixed, but Devon was enraged. He thought it gave the impression that they had no idea what they were doing. After all, they were a new company, and their competitors were watching them, looking for any flaws.
Devon suggested that Nate seek out a mentor, which Nate rejected. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) walked in on the argument and attempted to mediate. She and Devon had previously discussed her spending more time with her mother.
Young & Restless: How could she?
Summer (Allison Lanier) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) talked at Chancellor Park, and of course, they talked about Diane (Susan Walters). Kyle (Michael Mealor) had told Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) that Diane was his grandmother, which upset Phyllis. Summer mentioned Diane’s assistance with Harrison, but Phyllis suggested the woman had used the situation to further ingratiate herself with the family.
Then Diane came by and said some trollish things to Phyllis, which prompted Phyllis to yell at her. Because Harrison was on the swings and the little boy could hear, Jack (Peter Bergman) ran over and yelled at Phyllis. How could she? Phyllis, on the other hand, would not be intimidated. How could she? did he give Diane a pass while holding Phyllis to such a high standard? Well, no matter how amazing Phyllis was, Jack wasn’t about to let Harrison get caught in the crossfire.
The Young & The Restless Spoilers Recap: Unable to Speak
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) had surgery off-screen and was unable to speak. She and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) arrived at Crimson Lights to receive additional gifts. They were from Faith Newman this time (Reylynn Caster). Faith, Tessa, Mariah, and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) sat for a while, and Mariah was the one with all the jokes. Tessa, of course, couldn’t laugh.
Tessa retired upstairs to sleep. Kyle walked in as Mariah sat down to work. He inquired about Tessa’s health before informing Mariah of Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death. Harrison, Harrison, Harrison… Of course, they were keeping Ashland away from him in the first place, but that’s beside the point.
