The Young & The Restless Recap spoilers for Thursday, August 4th, 2022 starting with Genoa City being bombarded with truth bombs. Young and Restless Spoilers Highlights
Nothing about the death of Ashland (Robert Newman) sat well with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Clearly, he is not the only one who has concerns. Finally, he demanded that Victor respond (Eric Braeden). After all, how could he trust his grandfather if he kept playing the same old games?
Victor, on the other hand, dropped a major truth bomb on his eldest son. Ashland was discovered dead on the floor of Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) home by Victor’s security team. They removed his body and pretended he died in a car accident. That way, there was no doubt about what had occurred. According to Victor, Nick did nothing wrong; he was simply protecting his sister. Sure, Victor took matters into his own hands rather than letting the law handle it, but that’s what The Great Victor Newman does… Do you have it?
Y&R Recap: Truth Be Told
Adam (Mark Grossman) was at the bar at Society when Sally (Courtney Hope) came in for some takeout. They talked for a while, and she mentioned that she didn’t want them to feel awkward when they ran into each other around town, and he agreed.
Sally also informed Adam that she had decided to remain with Newman Media. After all, no man — not even him — was worth forfeiting that opportunity. Then she hinted that there was more to Ashland’s death than he realized, and Adam demanded that she spill the beans. Sally pretended to, but then stiffened her spine and revealed that her loyalty belonged to Newman Media, not her ex-boyfriend who bashed on her heart.
Young & Restless Spoilers Recap: Large Tip
Kevin (Greg Rikaart) arrives at Crimson Lights with some important news for Chance (Conner Floyd). Someone saw Ashland’s car at a gas station near Victoria’s property, according to the tip line. Chance intended to collect security footage from the area in order to piece together more details about what happened the night Ashland died. He sounded like he was one step closer to discovering the truth.
The young & The Restless Spoilers: Nikki and Phyllis
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) went to The Grand Phoenix for drinks. They talked about how to get rid of their mutual foe, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Of course, Phyllis told Ashley about the plan she and Nikki devised to bring Diane down.
Just how would Phyllis do it? By working at Marchetti, of course. Since Diane is a ticking time bomb, all Phyllis would do is pull out the pin a bit and let Diane explode. Ashley had some reservations because she felt it would be bad for Jabot, but Nikki and Ashley promised that it wouldn’t. After all, they both love Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) and would never do anything to hurt her. They all toasted to that.
Meantime, back at the Abbott residence, Diane was concerned that she had overstepped her bounds by barging in with plans for Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) welcomed her presence. After all, the little boy needed everyone to help him get over his Father’s death. Diane remarked that it had been a long time since she’d had anyone on her side, and it appeared as if she and Jack grew closer, which won’t be good news for Ashley, Nikki, or Phyllis.
