The Young & The Restless Recap spoilers for Friday, August 5th, 2022 start with Nicholas Newman’s use of Sharon Rosales as a sounding board demonstrates his inability to keep a secret. Meantime, Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor has shocked to hear that her husband isn’t looking out for her family’s best interests, and Billy Abbott can’t stop wondering what’s going on with Victoria Newman.

Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) yelled at Nick (Joshua Morrow) for being ungrateful for everything Victor had done for him… This includes Nick stealing what he swears was already Ashland’s dead body and making his death look like a car accident rather than a murder. Victor pleaded with Nick to keep his mouth shut. Isn’t he grateful for what Daddy Dearest did for him? Nick crept from Victor’s office. and proceeded directly to Sharon (Sharon Case). He hems and haws before finally spilling his guts. Victor is going to be very upset.

The Young & The Restless: A Member of the Newman Clan

Victor would also be upset to find that his son-in-law Chance (Conner Floyd) isn’t just accepting Victor’s story, but is conducting his own interrogation into Ashland’s (Robert Newman) death. Realizing how her father will react, Abby (Melissa Ordway) attempts to talk him out of doing his job. Is he unaware of his new responsibilities as a member of the Newman clan?

Young & Restless Spoilers:  Is this a personal matter?

Billy (Jason Thompson) meets Victoria (Amelia Heinle) after she picks up their children from camp. Sure, he can say he’s just carrying out his fatherly duties, but we cannot help but think he wants more from Victoria than she’s willing to offer. Is it solely for the podcast’s professional benefit? Is this a personal matter? We’re not sure what Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) would think.
